Preparation: To treat kidney infections chew on fresh stem or boil a piece in 1 liter of water then drink three times a day.
To treat ear infections, find a small plant, toast, squeeze to get sap off it, then put on a few drops on affected ear.

Monkey ladder vine

Uses: To treat pain in the back, diabetes and anemia.
Preparation: To treat anemia boil 20 cm of stem in one liter of water, add sugar while still boiling, then let it sit for few days outside until becomes like maple syrup. To treat diabetes same process but skipping the sugar. Same for pain in the back.
Dose: For anemia two tablespoons first thing in the morning, for diabetes half glass twice a day, and half glass three times a day for pain in the back.

Uses: To treat mosquito bites.

Preparation: Tap the tree when tide is coming in, then apply fresh sap on bites before it oxidizes.

Note: This tree was sacred for the Mayans, and well known as a preservative, so it was used also to embalm their dead. The sap is also flammable, so it sap could help to start a fire if needed.

Uses: To extract thorns and slivers. To treat dandruff.
Preparation: Take fresh sap , heat up and apply directly on thorn or sliver, cover with a piece of towel and let it sit all night. To treat dandruff, boil leaves and use as a shampoo.
