Agrimony (Agrimonia eupatoria) is not one of the better-known herbs. Agrimony is a member of the rose family and is a non-toxic astringent that has both diuretic as well as tonic properties and is particular helpful and safe for use with children. Many ailments that children have respond well to Agrimony capsules or Agrimony when it is brewed as a tea. Agrimony is effective at relieving Vomiting for people of all ages if the tea is consumed between meals. Agrimony is very effective for liver problems and jaundice and has also been used very effectively for a variety of purposes including coughs, Diarrhea, Diabetes, Bleeding wetting and for treating bedsores for those who are confined to bed for long periods of time. Agrimony has been known to worsen cases of constipation in some individuals.

 

Agrimony is made up of a compound known as agrimophol which is very effective at getting rid of Parasites that have attached themselves to the lining of body tissues.  The herb Agrimony encourages the production and development of immune bodies that are known as B cells. There are a number of types of cancers such as chronic leukemia and ovarian Cancer that destroy the B cells but consuming Agrimony helps to build them back up again in the body.  To its credit, there are instances where Agrimony has acted as an immunostimulant.
